New Stuff

Well I didn't get much play time in yesterday. I had 4 stamp sets to cut out and by the time I got everything organized and watched Big Brother, I only had time to make one, very simple card.

However, this one little card allowed me to use the new In Colors that I like so much, my new ticket corner punch, round tab punch and In the Spotlight stamp set. I was having a hard time coming up with something because I really wanted to use everything I got. So this was the final result. I also finished my other Grandparent's Day card, very similar to the one I posted the other day, but I added a Scallop Circle and a Three for You flower punch:

I'm hoping to get a chance to play some more tonight after DD goes to bed! I made a trip to Target today, did you know in there $1 spot they have scrapbooking items???? Maybe not the best quality, but some of it was pretty cute. Some fall ribbon, scrapbooking paper (several sheets for $1, can't remember exactly), small punches, embellishments (very cute jewel embellishments, I bought two of these). There was some other stuff two. The punches will only work on plain (non-cardstock) paper. They also have a bunch of their school supplies on sale. Composition books for $0.35!! I bought several of these to alter...will post pictures of those some day (when I get them done!!) Gotta love target! OK, one more upload for the day: I joined a Fall Colors and Design on SCS and this is what I submitted:

I used Close to Cocoa, Really Rust, Mellow Moss and Watercolor paper; versamark and Close to Cocoa ink; chalk coloring and Chocolate Chip ribbon. I am pleased with the way it turned out. Have a great day!

I like your new cards, especially with the fall colors!
The ones for the grandparents are nice too, maybe you're not completely satisfied because there is a lot of white there ?, white always seems to invite stamping or coloring! ;-)...LOL!
