Journals...

I've decided to try another altering project. This time I altered a composition book. This was very easy. You can find the tutorial on this thread at SCS. There are so many possibilities for embellishing this. I stayed fairly simple this time, but I can't wait to do it again!

I am also making a beaded pen (instructions here), this pen doesn't have the beads yet, I ran out of tacky tape! I did not use the shipping label, I just cut some of the patterned paper to size and ran it through my xyron, worked perfectly!

Supplies: Composition Book ($0.35 at Target!!); Recollections Patterned Paper; Mellow Moss cardstock; perfect plum cardstock; versamark ink; clear embossing powder; ribbon; ticket corner punch; corner rounder punch; Delight in Life Stamp set and Cuttlebug Olivia alphabet.

This project is very easy and anyone could use them. They also make the small composition books that could be altered and would easily fit into your purse for whatever purpose. I thought a good use for the smaller books would be to take on vacation so you could write down important facts for later journaling. These would make great Christmas Gifts!!
