Out with the Old...In with the New!

Probably not the last good bye, as I still have a lot of cardstock, but since I really like the new colors, I won't be using the old as much. Anyway, I made this birthday card for my brother-in-law. Just a basic card. I had some leftover DSP from the mini-scrapbook I made him, so this matched that. Cardstock: River Rock, Blue Bayou, Whisper White; Ink: River Rock; Brocade Blue; Western Sky DSP; Stampset: duh! I can't think of this stamp set. What is it? oh yeah, Eat Cake. Very simple and easy card. He liked it! Masculine cards are hard for me, I really wanted to add some ribbon, but it didn't really fit.

How about something with the new In Colors? This one is one of my swaps from convention and I realized I didn't post it! Shame on me. Cardstock: Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss, Whisper White: Ink: Riding Hood Red, Kiwi Kiss, White Craft Ink; Stamps: Heard from the Heart; Wishing You Cheer; Accessories: Dimensionals, Scallop Edge Punch. You can't tell from the picture, but the "Welcome Christmas into your heart" is stamped on the inside of the card and I used the scalloped edge at the bottom of the top of the card. You'll have to take my word for it that it is really cute!

Great cards, Crissy!
The b-day one is great for those "boy birthdays" - always so much hard than girls!

Hey Crissy. . .actually, I miss the old in colors and I'm depleting what I have left. Whaaa!

I do like the new in-colors but not as much as the older ones but I guess I gotta get over it!

I love both of your cards. . .they are both so pretty. You did a wonderful job with the boy card. . .I'm terrible with masculine cards!!
