Masculine Birthday

Hope everyone had a great Memorial Day Weekend! Ours was fun! Beautiful weather every day, even Monday wasn't too bad with the 80% chance of rain that we never saw! That's OK, we enjoyed the time together as a family. I have been busy. I am planning on attending Stampin' Up!'s convention in July/August and have been joining swaps left and right and trying to come up with ideas. So I haven't really been creating anything lately. This is a card I did for my boss' birthday. I used Chocolate Chip, Ballet Blue, Brocade Blue and Whisper White cardstock and ink and also yoyo yellow ink. I used my Print Pattern background stamp and the Eat Cake stamp set. I try not to do too many embellishments on masculine cards, especially for my boss, I think this turned out OK.

My SBS2 sis, Mel, tagged me sometime last week. I am supposed to list 7 random and weird facts about myself.

1- I don't wear any make up.
2- I like watching cartoons.
3- My husband is my best friend.
4- My favorite movie is Gone with the Wind.
5 - I still exchange Christmas cards with my high school English teacher (I'm 34).
6 - I am a messy scrapper/stamper, I usually have everything sitting out and don't always put things back.
7 - I had a very hard time coming up with this list!

The rules:1. Link your tagger and list these rules on your blog. 2. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird.3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.4. Let them know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

I'm going to chicken out on this and not tag anyone, if your interested, consider yourself tagged!

Great colors for a masculine card. I have that set too. I need to use it more. Cute, cute!

Love your card. Great inspiration to pull out that set! Sorry to make you do that list; they're difficult to come up with, hey? But I'm glad you did. We have a lot in common, the makeup, cartoons, best-friend hubby, I LOVE Gone with the wind, but especially the MESS. I sometimes don't clean my stamps for weeks! and I pile until it ends up on the floor, lol. (horrid hey?) You're completely unique in exchanging Christmas cards with your high school teacher. Though I wish I had mine's address. That's really special that you're still in touch. Ok now I'll stop blabbing at you. Thanks for playing along! :0)
