What's Missing?

I'm playing around with a Mother's Day Card and came up with this. But I feel like something is not quite right! I don't know if it is too much, not enough or what! What do you guys think? I used Wild Wasabi and Pretty in Pink. The flowers are from Time Well Spent and stamped on white paper using versamark and then I colored them with my Stampin' Pastels. Happy Mother's Day is stamped in Wild Wasabi. I also stamped some images on the base of the card using versamark. I'm just not feeling this card and would greatly appreciate some input! The weather has been perfect here the last few days. We had a wonderful sunny and warm weekend. So I am looking ahead to this weekend and what does it say? Chance of snow flurries!?! What??? Come on, haven't we had enough of the cold weather. This is getting ridiculous. It has to end sometime though, right?

I think your card looks great. Yep, the weather has been so annoying! I just wish spring would get here.

I like your card Crissy....fun color combo you have going! I might make the border behind the ribbon a little narrower.....just a little bit wider than your ribbon so that you can see more of the background.

This is a beautiful card! I like it as is. I can't wait for great weather... it's raining a lot right now.

Hi Crissy,

I think your card turned out fabulously. It has a whimisical look to it and nice feminine colors. It's perfect for Mother's Day!

Your card is pretty, but maybe you don't like it because the focal point (flowers) is very pale? You could try adding a little colorful detail somewhere, like a prima in the same tones but brighter or a big brad...
I made a card with pastel colors the other day, just to try and I hated it so much it didn't even make it to the blog, LOL! ;-)

Or you could try inking/sponging all the layers with a slightly darker color, that would make the pale colors pop more...
