A New (to me) technique

I was out checking out some of my favorite blogs and I stumbled on a new technique using your cuttlebug and ink! I found it at Paper Pleasing Ideas and she has a handy video tutorial! So cool! You can find it here. It's called Cuttlebug Ink Embossing and it is super easy and adds so much to your card! I tend to like the simpler cards and I really love this technique! Here was my first attempt:

Colorful, isn't it? I used Brilliant Blue as the base and used my Kaleidacolor Birthstone to color my Happy Birthday embossing folder put it through my cuttlebug. The Happy Birthday is from So Many Scallops and the ribbon is some misc multicolor ribbon that I had that I never thought I would have a use for =-) I think this would be a great card for a child.

Here is another cuttlebug card, although I didn't use this new technique, I did use a new embossing folder! I used Pretty in Pink for the base and Sage Shadow for the embossed layer. Stamp set is Time Well Spent and Happy Birthday is from It's Your Birthday. I used Versamark to stamp the flower and stem and colored it using my Stampin' Pastels.
I also used my Photo Corner Punch and Tag Punches. Very simple!

I love that technique! I recently participated in the SCS challenge for this technique and it was my first time trying it out.

I love what you did with your cards and how you applied the technique to your cards! You did beautifully!
