Happy Birthday T.O. Mom!

This week is my Mother-in-Law's birthday a/k/a T.O. Mom (the other Mom)! We have given her her gift and card, so now I can post them! I used my new favorite technique, coloring the Cuttlebug embossing folder before running the paper through. I used Sage Shadow ink and white paper. The base card and scallop circle are Pretty in Pink and Happy Birthday is from It's Your Birthday stamp set and stamped using Sage Shadow. The ribbon is white taffeta. Very simple! For her gift I used my rub-ons on a 8x10 picture frame that used matting for a 5x7 picture. I loved how the frame turned out. I put a picture of my daughter in it from Hawaii in a hula skirt holding a flower, it was really adorable and of course my MIL loved it! I'm definitely going to use these rub-ons for more frames, this was such an easy project with a great outcome! The rub-ons are just awesome!

Those projects are really beautiful! I especially like the picture frame--I haven't thought of doing a frame before! I'm not a stamper/scrapbooker, but I think I'm going to be getting crafty this summer... :)
