Children Birthday Cards!

We have a busy weekend. We have two birthday parties to go to for three kids all under the age of 6! I am sure the parties will be fun, especially for my dd. Here are the cards I came up with:

This first one is for one of my good friends whose son is turning one! I wanted something colorful and I think I accomplished that! I used Tempting Turquoise for the base of the card and then I took a piece of yoyo yellow and only orange and ran it through my cuttlebug using the Happy Birthday embossing folder. I adhered them together and tied a piece of real red ribbon to hide the seam. I stamped the giraffe (from Wild About You stamp set) in only orange and sponged some tempting turquoise around the edge and matted it on a piece of real red. I used the scraps from the yoyo yellow and only orange to make two circles for the scallop circle punch and used my cuttlebug alphabet to make the number 1. I added this layer as an afterthought, if I would have thought of it sooner I probably would have placed the giraffe lower or something.

My next two cards are not my own design. This first one I did at my upline's card club a couple months ago and I just added the 5 from my cuttlebug alphabet. I am pretty sure we used Brilliant Blue for the card base and real red and whisper white for the background of the balloons. Ink used was Brilliant Blue, Real Red and Yoyo Yellow. We stamped the presents on the base of the card using the same color ink. Stamp set used was Birthday Whimsy from Sale-A-Bration. We used the red hemp twine for the balloon strings and put the balloons on using dimensionals.

And last, but not least: I completely copied this card from someone on Splitcoast. The link to the card in the gallery at splitcoast can be found here. I actually was going to make this card a long time ago and never did. I used my Favorite Teddy Bear stamp set. The only thing I did different is added the circle with the 3 in it. Real Red is the base of the card, then yoyo yellow and whisper white for the layers. I colored the images using my watercolor pencils. The Teddy Bear is cut out and put together so he is sitting. Again the 3 is from my cuttlebug alphabet. OK, so now the cards are done, what do I give them as gifts? I guess I 'll figure something out. I am really pleased with how these cards turned out though!
