While browsing through SCS the other day I stumbled on the tutorial for Wednesday. It is a Criss-Cross Card. I looked through the gallery and saw all the beautiful cards and thought I should try it, but I just knew it would be hard and mine would never turn out. But you have to take a chance sometimes and this is one of those times!!! This technique calls for patterned paper, so I looked through my stack and found this "Aloha" paper and decided to use it! I am so pleased with how this turned out and it was very easy to do! The design is by Michelle Wooderson (she is one smart cookie!) and you can find the tutorial
here. I think I am going to use this technique for Christmas cards this year! Now I just need to order the paper. I liked it so much, I did a second one. I do like the 2nd one better because of the colors. Did you ever notice how there are not enough hours in the day to do all the things you want to do?
There are so many different types of cards that I would like to try. I guess I will just have to continue, one by one! Well, thanks for looking and have a great weekend!

I got the newsletter in my inbox last Wednesday and have been dying to try this type of card... But since I didn't have the paper for that, I tried a tag-pocket instead... ;-) but it's still in a corner of my mind!...
